Coastal Passage Making Instructor Certification Course
The Coastal Passage Making Instructor Evaluation is an intense five-day clinic. Candidates should expect to arrive at the course location by 1500 on the first day. The participants will depart that afternoon and will not return until the afternoon of the fifth day.
Prerequisites:
- Current US SAILING Basic Keelboat Instructor Certification, Cruising and Coastal Navigation Instructor Certification
- Current U.S. Coast Guard License (includes Auxiliary Sail Endorsement)
- Current American Red Cross (ARC) or Green Cross Standard First Aid card and current ARC, Green Cross, or American Heart Association CPR card
- Current US SAILING membership
Evaluation Length:
Five days
Successful completion of the course includes passing the following:
Candidates should expect to be evaluated on a wide range of criteria including but not limited to the following:
